Holiday Weekend

The holiday weekend is among us and we are prepared to show everyone on Daniel Island a good time!, says Thomas Dowling owner of the Daniel Island Grille.  Both partners, Brian Mahoney and Mr. Dowling have been entrenched in keeping the ship straight all year at the Islands newest most popular local gathering place.  "The fourth of July is a great time of year in Charleston but its even more special for us here at the Daniel Island Grille or DIG as everyone refers to it, its our one year anniversary", says Mahoney.  Like all the other events we have held here at the DIG, our customers have come to expect first class treatment and a good ole party! 

Some events for the week are a BBQ at Pierce Park on Friday  from 5pm-10pm with a live concert to kick off the holiday weekend.  On the fourth, at the DIG we will be adding to our existing menu by doing Brunch from 9am-11:30am.  From 9am-4pm we will be doing 1/2 price appetizers and $3 pints of Guinness and $2 Budlights all night. 

If you were not aware there is a Rugby tournament on the Island and the Team USA  is in town!  Also on Saturday at Pierce Park there will certainly be some red, white and blue cocktails with a host of other food specials!  from 11am-3pm. 

Next week we are officially celebrating our one year anniversary with a Beach Party Bash on Wednesday the 8th at the DIG.  Live DJ and dance floor should make for quite a party!  $2 Drifters and $5 Frozen drinks; what better time to try our newest home frozen creation "ROCKETFUEL"
